Paving Stones
Paving stones are a great choice for your hardscaping areas. There are lots of different styles, textures, sizes, and colours to choose from. You can be very creative with different paving stones, in-lays, curves, and lighting! We install all our paving stones on a compacted crushed gravel base and finer aggregate leveling layer. Paving stone edging is always installed before polymeric sand swept into the joints. The cost of paving stones may be more than concrete, but the versatility, looks, and option to lift and replace paving stones in case of damage or the need to access utilities below makes them the perfect option.
Concrete
Concrete is usually a more economic option for your hardscaping areas over paving stones or flagstone but it's crisp and strong look can look better around modern houses. Concrete if done correctly is very strong and durable and will last a lifetime. Colour and patterns can be added to the concrete during mixing or placing. Stairs, patios, and retaining walls can be poured together creating that seamless look you cannot get with any other product. DP Decks offers concrete service for walkways, smaller patios and parking pads. We do not take on large patios or driveways in concrete. We also do not do any stamped concrete or exposed aggregate finishes.
