Fences
Fences serve many practical purposes such as; Adding security and safety for your residence or commercial space, defining your property line, keeping animals in or out, and privacy. They should also compliment home and outdoor living spaces, as well as add to the beauty of your landscaping.
Types of Fences We Build
Wood Fences
Fences built from cedar or brown pressure treated wood. Either bought and installed panels or built on site fences for custom sizes, looks, and the ability to follow the existing slopes of your property. All of our fence posts set into rapid setting concrete 24"-30" below grade at a minimum. If fence is to be installed on existing concrete, proper brackets are used to connect. We select the straightest lumber available and use longer and heavier gauge fasteners to help resist the natural twisting or warping that can happen while the wood is drying. We prefer to screw our fence boards instead of nail or staple to help against natural cupping that can also happen. We always suggest staining your fence as soon as possible to also limit these effects and for immediate protection from our varying Canadian climate. We recommend an oil base semi-transparent stain for ultimate look and UV protection!
Corrugated Metal Fences
Corrugated metal fences are becoming very popular. We believe it is because the price is very similar to a full wood fence but will require less maintenance and should have a longer life span. These metal panels can be installed on wood frames and posts, vinyl, or aluminum. The metal panels come in double sided black or charcoal colour. Other colours are only available single sided with the backside being white.
Vinyl Fences
Vinyl fencing is a low maintenance, coming in select solid colours and set heights. We still install these fences with posts set below the frost line. Posts on corners, around gates, or end posts include a treated post or brand specific post stiffener also installed into vinyl post for extra support.
Other Types of Fences
We can also build fences using composite/pvc products, split cedar, aluminum decorative fencing, or fences including combinations of materials. At this time we do not offer services for chain-link, deer fencing, or welded metal fences.
